Conference on Modeling, Simulation and Optimization of Complex Processes, Heidelberg, July 21-25, 2008

The conference will take place at the University of Heidelberg. It will be devoted to the discussion of current topics in numerical methods for differential equations and optimization as well as their application.

Heidelberg is an ancient university town in the south west of Germany, located just where the quiet Neckar river flows out of the mountains into the broad and warm valley of the Rhine. Its university, the Ruperto Carola, is the oldest university in Germany, and was founded in 1386. Among its attractions is a castle that inspired romanticists since over two centuries.
