The homework assignments can be downloaded on Thursdays and must be solved
within one week by groups of at most two students. On every sheet you have theoretical and practical exercises. The solutions of the practical homework must be send (in matlab executable .m files) to
. The theoretical exercises can be submitted in the lecture on Thursday or via email.
To register for a tutorial, please use the
Sufficient conditions for acquiring admission to take the exam are
regular and active attendance in tutorials,
presenting a solution at least once in the semester,
at least 50% of the maximum score in theoretical homework problems, and
at least 50% of the maximum score in practical homework problems.
Students who can certify admission in past semesters are strongly encouraged to solve the homework assignments again, although they are not required to do so. We would like to stress that the contents of the lectures can change from year to year and from lecturer to lecturer.

Students who failed the final exam are allowed to retake the exam on Thursday, April 7 , 2016, 11:15-12:45. The exam will take place in the Mathematikon, 5th floor SR11 .

Passing the final exam earns the students 8 LP/CP (exam admission required). The grade for the module is the grade of the final exam.
