Room Reservation IWR
The following rooms in the Mathematikon can be reserved at the IWR:
- Seminar room (SR) 10 • 5th Floor: 21 Seats
- Seminar room (SR) 11 • 5th Floor: 21 Seats
- Seminar room (SR) 12 • 5th Floor: 14 Seats (*)
- Conference Room • 5th Floor: 49 Seats (*)
- Common Room • 5th Floor
- CIP Pools 1 & 2 • 3rd Floor: 25 Seats each
(*) These rooms are not intended for teaching, so no regular events can take place there.
To reserve a room in the IWR areas, please send an email to: raum.reservierung@iwr.uni-heidelberg.de
All other seminar rooms and areas in the Mathematikon can be requested from the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science: raum.reservierung@mathinf.uni-heidelberg.de
General Information
Reservation requests can be made via heiCO entry. These entries are not binding and need to be confirmed by IWR in a dedicated email.
Allocations are made according to the following priority list:
- Reviews of the IWR or IWR projects
- IWR scientific events and conferences (up to 3 days)
- Courses from the IWR / HGS MathComp program
- Courses
- For event types (1.) and (2.), other events must also release rooms at short notice. Please be prepared for this!
- Other uses are only possible if there are gaps.
- If possible, IWR block seminars should take place during the semester break.
- If rooms are not required after reservation, please inform us immediately by email.
Please note:
To reserve the conference room and the common room for a duration of 90 minutes or more, a usage agreement and the approval of the IWR Managing Director are required. The user agreement will be sent to you on request. Approval can only be granted on presentation of the completed and signed usage agreement.
Meeting rooms
The meeting rooms can be reserved at the secretariats.

The meeting rooms are not intended for teaching. Please request the seminar rooms in the Mathematikon for courses (see above).
