IWR News Team IWR @ Heidelberg Half Marathon 2025

Fifteen members of the IWR took part in the annual Heidelberg Half Marathon on April 27, 2025.
Several thousand runners took part in this year's half marathon in beautiful weather. In this challenging race, runners have to overcome almost 350 metres of altitude.
The race began in ideal conditions at the Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage. During the race, runners enjoyed wonderful views of the old town, the castle and the Neckar valley, before finally crossing the finish line at Universitätsplatz. Running in groups of three, the best IWR team achieved 63rd place out of 205.
